Bayside Sports Performance is a unique training experience for boys and girls looking to enhance their athletic potential, through our Strength, Speed, and Agility Program.  At Bayside Sports Performance we want our parents and athletes to understand that speed - power - agility training is not about driving athletes to exhaustion in an attempt to increase speed. It's about developing sport-specific strength, efficiency of movement, improving flexibility, speeding up muscle reactivity, and absorbing the mechanical principles that govern human movement. Training these components together results in a well-balanced, more powerful athlete who is now free to fully concentrate on the competition.

Bayside Sports Performance will encourage all athletes to constantly push their limits by striving to become better each and every day. Our program is designed to help increase the speed, power, agility and strength of young athletes who are in the rising third through ninth grade. Our athletes will be grouped by age and instruction will be differentiated for all ages and abilities. 

Goals of the program include:

  • Multi-Directional Agility
  • Core Stabilization
  • Dynamic Flexibility
  • Injury Prevention

The program will include the use of equipment such as medicine balls, resistance bands, agility hurdles, speed ladders, and plyometric boxes.
